Polyester cloth with a very thin vinyl coating. Looks and feels more like cotton cloth then vinyl. Artex absorbs a lot of ink, which limits the density and saturation of colors. 

Dark, rich colors will not reproduce on Artex as they normally would on vinyl. Still, it's a reasonable choice for custom wallcoverings, and certain display settings. Matte clear coat is standard.
