100% Trevira polyester sharks tooth scrim lends itself to variable-
transparency effects that can be controlled by lighting
the front or back surfaces. Cannot be printed in high-resolution.
Apparent
transparency depends on size of the print. Scrim may be too coarse for smaller
prints, but beautiful at large scale. As an alternative, consider 05
Voile.
Scrim's inherent stretchiness may distort the printed image. Low surface sheen. Image can be seen from both sides, but the second side is
considerably less dense (see sidebar).
