Find the approximate area of your
print in the left column (in square feet or square meters), then read
across for the recommended RGB file size in megabytesanything in the
highlighted range is fine, but files sizes at the higher-end of the
range will give the best results. For example: a print of 350 square
feet would require a file of from 50 - 300 MB.
For multiple prints, look up each individually, do not add their square footages together. For CMYK files, add 25% to the file sizes in the table. If you like numbers, and especially if your are creating a new image file, you can also calculate the file size yourself.
